Well even from the beginning it looked like I knew what I was doing. Up to the time these pix were taken, I probably had only done make up a few times, that is not to say that I didn't constantly read and study and study some more. I was constantly going at the books and had an insatiable appetite to learn. I remember going to drug stores and other places and stocking up on things. I read about-tools, applicators, as well as the make up itself. The problem with the make up was that is was a trial and error process. Colors weren't right so I had to go back to the store to exchange for another until I had my own skin tone figured out. All of this starting in January, 1998 so by the time I took the pictures in April, I was ready to roll!
