Diet Advice

  • Eat slowly and always chew your food well.   This will not only help the digestion system but will also help satisfy your hunger quicker.

  • Eat sensibly rather than rushing into a crash diet which is hard to follow and tough on the your body!  After several attempts at crash dieting, the slimming process tends to become more difficult and even ineffective.  Slower but more stable results are recommended.

  • Never skip meals.  And always avoid second helpings.

  • Drink plenty of water, at least 8 glasses a day, even while eating.  It will help to naturally eliminate the toxins in your system.

  • Eat a balanced and varied diet.

  • Beware of low-fat products as many people tend to eat more, and the calories add up.

  • Eat high-fiber foods (green vegetables, fruit in moderate quantities, cereals, wholegrain bread, apples...) this will help aid the digestion process.

  • Drink a big glass of water before eating.   This is an excellent appetite suppressant that's free.

  • Always keep some low fat yogurt or raw vegetables in the fridge or at work for a quick snack during the day.

  • Try to avoid cheese in the evening.

  • Remember that minerals provide balance.   Calcium for the bones and the nervous system, magnesium for energy, iron to help fight infections and zinc for healthy hair.

  • Keep away from alcohol; full of calories.

  • Avoid cooked fat. Use olive oil as a substitute.

  • Avoid red meat, choose fish or poultry instead.

  • Preserved meats and processed foods are generally high in fats. Not recommended for either your figure or your skin.

  • Resist chocolate.  But if you must, choose plain chocolate.
